A clear warm day, after the storm.
Julie, and I set off early for the Dr,s; walked to the Bowery, and rode through Grande street to
the door. Found them all well. I used, my _xqiusite, and found it convenient, unfortunately
lost the handle. Arrived at home at 2 oclock. Catharine, and Henry came to spend the day
with me. added to our dinner oysters in consequence of a short supply. Mother, and Maria
walked down for C. after dinner. Henry went to Jersey City. after dinner. Garret, bought the Herald,
with a description of the “Fancy Ball” (1).
