125_Page 124Julia, is an apt scholar, and will make of I think a fine sensible woman, unless by a pernicious course of reading she should be spoilt. Louis displays at times an unpleasant disposition, which I hope time will eradicate. We are getting quite indolent these cold dark mornings, instead of breakfasting at eight, it is generally half an hour past that time. But Garret loves to lie in bed, so that one cannot contend, against a host.
