Cold as winter; wind blowing hurricanes. Julie, taking a new lesson in three letters. Complaining of fatigue, an attack of her old
complaint chills, and fever. It commenced at 11 oclock; and terminated at three. I cannot account for it, unless produced by a long con-tinuance of very cold, damp weather. She has not been exposed in any way. I walked out after dinner, selected a small trundle bed for “Sis”(young Julie). Price 4$. Bought a bar of soap, 1 shil. 8d. A ball Red marking cotton 2 cents. Met Dr Anderson, Consulted about Sis.
