We went to a Book Store, bought two books for Sis, presented Maria one, price 9. shillings the three. Louis went to the Boat with Maria, and his father. The afternoon was cool, and clear. Sis, and I laid on the bed and took a nap. We took tea alone once more. I called on Mrs Halsted at her mothers, she was living with Mrs. Purdy. Went in the store, and selected a cross bar__d muslin dress, it is six years since I have had a new white dress.
