Mr H. read all the afternoon in his little Book, for my edification, while I sat sewing on Louis coat. A true friend, made her appearance today. she is punctual, a raw quality in this world. I walked out with Sis. In the evening strolled to Broad. way with Mr H. we both felt slim. G. had some porter brought home, he wished me to drink but I dare not. He says I must set this down as a good month having by good behavior, merited [sic] his approbation.
