A cool day, clear in the afternoon. After dinner I went down Broadway for a walk, found it very gay, called to get my boots, they were not finished. Took a long walk with Garret by moon.light, laid my shawl and bonnet on the piano, but do not remember whether my pin was with them, or whether I had it on.
