Clear, and cold. A fine winters day. I was not very well, and remained at home. Garret, went to Church afternoon, and evening. The children did not go out. The day wears away heavily, when kept within doors. I read untill my eyes ache, and then walk up and down the rooms for exercise. G. heard “Shimeal” preach in the evening. He does not admire him much. A superb moonlight night.
