A beautifull May day.

Garret, would not take me to church, was
fearfull the streets might be damp.
I remained at home very unwillingly, as so
many sabbath days find me absent from my
past. “Dr. Milledollar”, administered the commu
nion to .day. Mr H. went in the afternoon
heard “Mr. Fisher”, the new occupant of our pul
pit, he does not admire him.
Louis, and Remsen walked out with their
father. Julie, and I are homebody’s, by com
pulsion, she has no thick shoes and I fear
the damp atmosphere.
