A lovely spring day.

This weather is almost unnatural for winter, if it were April or May, we might expect it, I went twice to Church, in the morning with Garret, at noon with Julie.
Mr Fisher, sermons were on Faith, and that religious life nesscessary[sic] to ensure us a place in the treasure house of God” I think he will do us some good, as his manner is energetic, and his matter beyond compare
The Church fills up, which is quite encouraging.
He alluded too, and prayed for “criminal”
“Colt” who was convicted yesterday of “willfull murder”.
Fortunately for him, there is tribunal of mercy
above, and a savior who will forgive him, “tho
his sins are as scarlet.”
