pg 41Monday. 21. st. February. 1842.

Clear, bright morning, cool, not cold.

We are about beginning to arise earlier in the mornings. To. morrow Garret, thinks of moveing his store, or rather goods. The boxes came this morning. Julie, and I walked out, took my bracelet to be mended. Broadway crowded with fashion.
Found, three ladies, had called in my absence,
Mrs Purdy, Halsted, and Mrs Remsens.
Met Deborah, looking fat, but complaining.
Mr H. commenced moveing, Simon helping,
is displeased with the new store.
I took a long walk after dinner, the
air is pure and venerateing to.day.
Louis, plays too much in the street, and
does not like to walk out with Bridge.
