Unpleasant, damp, chilly day.

I did not dare venture out, altho I wished to have spent some hours in Church. Mr Hasbrouck, went after dinner, heard “Dr Milledollar” He likes his style of preaching much. I read all day but could not retain all the important facts which I wish to impress on my memory.

The children have colds but are not sick they
are all playfull with good appetites.
Garrets cold rather troublesome to him he
attempted to hear Mr Moffit, but found the
throng so immense as to prevent him from ap.
proaching the door. It was an evening service in
the Vestry Street church.
