pg 99Saturday. 30.th. April. 1842.

A fine, clear day just right for
moveing.

We arose early, I prepared the children
Julia, and Louis to go up to “nineteenth street.”
Had Louis hair cut, and sent them off bag
and baggage.
We sent off all our furniture, except two loads
The pictures went safe.
The Clarkes, moved in after dinner hour.
There was little noise, or confusion, as all
things went straight.
Garret, was almost exhausted when night
came.
We parted from April, with regret, it has
been a pleasant month.
My bones ached to.day, and I feared some
sickness might over take me, but it passed
over.
