A very sultry day.

The day was so fine, we all prepared for
Church, but found it much warmer than any
day previous. I wore muslin for the first;
and still felt the heat. Julie, was almost
melted in her new silk.
I did not go out again, slept two hours on
the bed, not haveing felt well, in two, or three

pleasing in his manner.
The hot sun, made us hasten home, I was
glad to get on my loose gown, and Julie one of
her summer dresses.
