pg 121Saturday. 18. June. 1842.

Rain in the morning, close atmosphere
high wind, and clear at noon.

I over slept myself, and did not hear the bell this morning.
jumped up, and found it almost 7.
Read the Herald, as G. wishes me to do it.
Sewed steadily all the morning on Louis,
coat.
My striped blue muslin came home.
Sent Julie’s pink muslin to Mrs B.
A back ache to.day, this sewing disagrees
sadly with me, but I must do it, as
Bridget is a slow assistant.

Commenced takeing Tea to day. six cents
worth.
Louis, put on his thin pantaloons, the
heat overcomes him very much.
