A pleasant day, but growing warmer since the rain.
My dear husband, returned early this morning, so that
all was peace with me.
This week I devoted to sewing and making preserves.
I made nine lbs of currents in July.
Pine apples in Brandy. and
Pine apples in sugar.
They were all beautiful preserves.
Garret bought me Mr ______ book on the second ad-
vent of our savior. I must read it again.
John [Rogers] from Princeton, came with the girls to see me.
Julie and I went down to see Isabella, she was out, so we
walked on the Battery.
I left my diamond ring to be mended at Mr. Jennings.
Garret got it for me.
