A pleasant, day still warm. We all amused ourselves to.day in a thousand different ways, eating peaches seems the invariable mode of filling up all spare time. G. never appeared so cheer- full, or enjoyed the country as much as he does now. I look upon him with delight, and feel the same buoyancy of heart, animateing my frame. It is true, he is very mischievous, and plays some wild pranks, but this is excusable in a “Yorker.”
