A changeing day of rain, wind, and sun shine.

At twelve oclock, the storm passed over for an hour, and Julie’s little guests arrived. Mary Remsen, her two little sisters, with Edward and Maria. Eugene, came in the evening to escort them home. They had a fine romp, and spent a pleasant day. all was harmony, and peace. Mary is a pleasant, agreeable young lady, and will no doubt, make a fine woman. Julie, sang all her songs, but did not succeed in dressing her doll, they were all too full of mischief. Mr H, came in to dinner, he had met Remsen O. Who informed him they had found the body of Andrew, and that the funeral would take place to.morrow.
He invited us to attend at five oclock.
