We all felt rather sleepy this morning, but jumped up in spite of our inclinations to slumber. My rest was miserable, and disturbed by dreedfull dreams. Mother, and Catharine, called on the girls to day. I went out with Helen, to shop, we purchased a shawl, and several other articles. Met Deborah, she went in with us to [Heens]. Eugene, came in to tea, he and Helen sang very well together. Dr Wicks, had been to Williamsburgh [sic] to dinner. We spent our evening at home. Mr H. very complaining, and looking miserably.
