Catherine, spent the day with me, three weeks has
elapsed since we had seen each other. Maria, still confined to the house, from weakness, and debility.
The Miss [Marias], called to see me, sat an hour.
C. wished me to unite with Maria, and herself in joining the “Episcopal Church.” They intend being confirmed on Sunday. I must consider this step, it is an important one for a person, with young children to influence.
