Moderateing to. day. Snow melting off. I took my breakfast in bed, but felt little pain to.day. Mr H. bought half a dozen bottles of sarsaparilla from Louis; the Druggist. I think it disgusting stuff so deadly sweet; not near as pleasant as “Mr Wallace’s Indian Balsam (1)”. Regret not haveing continued to take his prescription in preference to this stuff. My box of Seidbts, almost out, they agree with me finely. The eruption on my face much better, probably arising from my low diet, and other remedies. I always feel happy when this complaint becomes less perceptible. Brown, came in to night to purchase one of our pictures; we think it rather too shabby for our room.
