Excessively hot. no showers to cool the air.
although we saw them in the distant horizon.

I could not sew, or read the heat
debilitated me so much.
Maria H. does not mind the warm weather, but
Helen feels it as sadly, as myself!!
Miss W. visited the North Carolina, to.day.
In the evening I walked out with “Mon Marie”
we stopped at the grocers, to purchase “Indian meal” 14 lbs
Luther, presented an Orange to me.
A new watering pot, and one dozen tumblers,
came home. My Friends again!!not happy
