A charming day; not too warm within doors.
Had the third story cleaned.
Amused the children two hours. A Bath in my basin!!!
G. wishes me to go to Stoppains; but the walk detains me; expense also. Salt water would benefit me more.  I arose at six this morning, wish I could jump up at five. Two hours would then be saved to me for reading and other more sacred duties. Breakfast does not relish when eaten too soon after riseing.
Mr H. spend two hours on the Battery waiting tosee a Sub.Marine explosion, was disappointed, not waiting patiently enough.
