pg 022Monday. 20. th. November. 1843.
Damp. unpleasant day.

Mother and M. stopped in, they in-
vited me to tea, I went up with Julie at 5.
We spent an hour with Mrs Woodruff. I was much
pleased with the singing, and recitations of Miss
Robins. G. came for me, in his usual mood,
not very agreable.
I passed an hour with Bell this morning, stopped at
Wittinghams, took a pair of gloves, lost them on my way.
