I sent Julie, with Simon up to Chelsea
Eugene brought her home in the evening.
The boys bought some toys for Johnny, Benjamin
returned home at five oclock.
I sent a few lines to Maria; very few indeed.
A present of two new lamps, and five ornaments,
or stands, surprised me this evening. amount. 50$
The lamp gives a splendid light.
Eugene spent the evening with us.
Louis, fell asleep on my lap.
G. took an inventory of our parlour furniture, the
cost of which amounted to 3..140 $.
He still intends giveing me chairs, to finish
