pg 032Thursday. 14. December. 1843.
Mild, and beautifull.
Thanksgiving day.
I took all the children to
[church], they were all restless, and fatigued.
We went to crowded concert in the eve-
ning, heard the Hutchinson family sing”.
Maria, and Eugene happened in, and went with
us. We were much pleased.
I had a conversation with G. on refinement; he does
not understand my motive, for being displeased,
at willfull intrusion.
