Clear and cold.
Fine air to day. Streets dry as if
rain or mud were strangers to them.
We all went to Church. The text “I stand
before God”, was solemnly addressed to each one of us.
I did not go out again, Julia studied her lesson.
Louis, went up to his grandmothers, took tea, was tired
too much so to study his lessons. Brought a paper
for Julia, written by some young men or boys; Mr. Parkers
scholars. Howard Platt and Herbert Turner are contributors.
My appetite monstrous to.day. G. thinks I ought
to get corpulent .
Read untill tired of sitting, then slept on the sofa.
Garrett, has a cold, looked pale.
