Thursday. March. 14.teenth.
0047 Very warm after the showers.
I walked in the morning, came home
very much heated, in my furs & cloak.
Went up to Chelsea after dinner, to spend the evening,
with mother. Julia went to walk on Broadway, with Miss
Grey; she came in before tea. Garret, took tea with us also,
with out any coaxing on my part. All the family were well,
mother seemed bright and lively, and Pa more healthy than
usual. Mr William Prall, came in to pass the eve. ad____
to days of “auld lang syne”.
Mrs Smith; rather better, Pa went in her room, found her very
much reduced.
We hear from Stone Ridge, a friend of G.s step mother called.
Maria, still over the mountains.
