Wednesday. 20th March./1850.
A fine cool day. March weather.
This day was not marked by any thing
uncommon. My morning was passed in sewing, and looking
over my wardrobe. Dined on stewed oysters, very fine stew.
G. enjoyed it very much. I made some display thinking
mother might venture down. G. met her in the avenue
